Beginning as early as the last week of July 2009, Cal State Constructors, the contractor working for the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission will begin work on the new water pumping station (Vista Francisco) located on Crestline Drive (approximately mid-block).The purpose of this project is to improve water delivery to the neighborhood and system reliability.
The Vista Francisco Pump Station is one of approximately 70 Water System Improvement Program projects that will repair, replace and seismically upgrade the Hetch Hetchy Water System.
